10 Months!

Lucy turned 10 months old on February 9th. Her first top tooth broke through that evening. She currently has three teeth. She loves to play peek-a-boo and to be chased by mom and dad. She loves to look at books (and turn the pages). She is such a good baby.

Mother's Day Out

Lulu has started school at a wonderful church. We are so blessed that they had a spot for Lu. She is in a class with 5 other babies and has two very sweet teachers. She goes two mornings a week and really seems to enjoy it. It has afforded me some free time to get things done and she is getting to socialize. These are pictures from her first day.

Drakes Creek to feed the ducks

We were so excited that it was going to be 50 degrees last Saturday! (Have I mentioned I miss the Dallas winters?) We packed up the family and took Lucy to feed the ducks for the very first time! We were only there about 10 minutes because the wind off the water was FREEZING!!! Lucy was her usual laid back self.







This is one of my all time favorite pictures ever. This man loves that little girl SO MUCH! And I am crazy about them both!

Overalls and Turtlenecks

John and I thought Lucy looked so cute in her "farmer" outfit! Babies in turtlenecks is the cutest thing ever!!


Our friend Elizabeth made this hair clip! She has quite a business in AZ making these and selling them. She made 6 or so for Lu and we just think they are so sweet!


By the way, I will be purchasing a new camera soon. Every stinking picture has a terrible shadow in the back from the flash. Our camera is about 6 years old now (ancient for a digital camera) so it is time for a new one. I have one picked out but am procrastinating making the purchase because learning to operate it will be like a full-time job!

New Jacket

How cute is this? There is a great kids consignment shop near my parents house. I just loved this little jacket. Lucy likes to eat it! I think she thinks it is a stuffed animal!




And my big girl with her bow on. This thing is way too tight now so we probably will have to put it away soon. She is too sweet with those big cheeks!

Fun in the Basket with Lamby

Lucy had fun sitting in one of her toy baskets with Lamby. She has recently discovered Lamby and likes to suck on his ears. If her mouth is occupied with a bottle she settles for rubbing his ears. I think he is a new favorite.




We have gotten back into the bibs lately (thank goodness we have a million of them). She has been so drooly while we wait for her top two teeth to break through. She has been a little cranky. These top two seem to bother her much more than the bottom two did. They are also taken a lot longer!

Snow Bunny

I got a great deal on this snow suit and had to buy it. Lu has only worn it a couple of times. It is so funny to see her in it. I usually wind up doubled over laughing. The only time I took her in public with it on it was about 20 degrees but a woman still said, "Oh MY!" when she saw Lucy in it. It is quite the get up!
