Lucy loves to dance with this little dog. She goes to it all the time and tries to push the on button. I almost have the song memorized but I hope Lucy doesn't! The last thing I want her saying is "Shake your body!"

What a difference a year makes

March 29, 2008 - 36 weeks pregnant

(This picture makes me teary eyed every time I look at it. She looks like a little girl. John and I agree this picture gives us a small glimpse at our daughter as a big girl.)

John's super sweet parents, Roger and Patty Niemann, who drove all the way from Texas for Lucy's party!


We had a rubber duckie themed bash since they are Lu's favorite toy.


Happy Birthday!! We celebrated a little early this year (Lu's birthday is 4/9) because John may have to travel on Lu's birthday.


Make a wish! She was a little freaked out by the flame but had fun with the cupcake.

This is pure joy to me. I love this little girl so much. I had no idea a child could make my heart fill this full.

Miller's Baptism

Last Saturday we had the privilege of attending baby Miller's baptism. His mom Emily is my dearest friend. I have enjoyed getting to spend lots of time with her now that we live close to one another.

Grandpa is 75!

My dad turned 75 on March 19th. We had a birthday celebration at Demos Restaurant thanks to Danny! After dinner we had cake and ice cream at home. David and Cathy came all the way from memphis to surprise Dad and we were grateful to have Johnny and Shauna join us, too! Next time I will get pics of everyone (whoops!).
