More snow day fun

Lucy actually wanted to play in the snow today! We had 5 inches at our house. She and John tried to make a snowman but the snow didn't want to cooperate. After naps we made cookies. This was our first time (shame on me). She had a blast!! Now she is doing her favorite activity in the world - gluing!!

Snow Days

We have had a LONG few days here! The weather has been awful (by Texas standards). We haven't left the house in three days! This morning we had rolling blackouts. We lost power 5 times. I was amazed how quickly the temperature dropped in the house. I had the girls bundled up. As usual Lu refused to let me photograph her.

I'm testing out my new mobile blogger app. This will make blogging much easier. I am doing this as Millie sleeps in my arms. She was 11 weeks yesterday and weighs 11 lbs 8 oz.

I'm back!!

I can hardly believe it has been almost three months since I last posted. Actually, I can. Life with two kiddos is kicking my tail! The sleep deprivation has been the hardest part. It also didn't help I had a bout with vertigo one week postpartum. We are coming up for air around here and truly enjoying life as a family of four. Millie is almost 11 weeks old and is just the sweetest thing! She smiles all the time and only cries when her tummy hurts (unfortunately that is pretty often). God is showing us to simplify and slow down. John has been an amazing partner and continues to be a wonderful father.

I will try to post more often. Thanks to everyone for all your prayers.
